just a girl
yesterday i was a girl.
in the afternoon i sat on the floor of my home, surrounded by scissors, glue sticks, paper, pens, markers, rulers, and ribbons. i listened to andrea bocelli and attempted to make a beautiful birthday card.
late in the evening, after our program with the kiddies, i sat on a couch eating food that had been sent to my group from Canada, and i watched Sabrina. i’m not sure how many times i’ve viewed this certain film, but i don’t think it will ever get old.
it was wonderful.

I just watched Sabrina with Lexi a week ago or so — she has never watched it before. Now she is hooked!

I keep thinking you may be gone on that vacation soon - when do you leave? I don’t know if I should send something your way or if you’ll be gone!

I DID receive something in my work mailbox this past week. It was the sweetest and best thing to find in the CarinaSinclair mailbox. Thank you, thank you, thank you. How come you think to do things like that and you actually do it? I only think of it.

I remember when I was just a girl…. the glue sticks, ribbons, scissors….
